Ankara Türkiye Zekâ Vakfı ve ODTÜ Eğitim Fakültesi iş birliğiyle bu yıl 11’incisi düzenlenen Zekâ ve Yetenek Kongresi kapsamında atölyelerimizi ziyaret ettik, çalışmalar hakkında bilgiler aldık. Bakanlık olarak zekâ ve yeteneğin eğitimle şekillenen gücüne inanıyor, çağın ihtiyaçlarına uygun bilgi ve becerilerle evlatlarımızı donatıyoruz. Kongrenin gerçekleşmesinde emeği geçen herkese teşekkür ediyor, öğrencilerimize çalışmalarında başarılar diliyorum.

Türkiye Zekâ Vakfı (TZV) ile ODTÜ iş birliğiyle dün başlayan 11. Zekâ ve Yetenek Kongresi, Eğitim Fakültesindeki atölyelerle devam ediyor.

Tekin, Arda Ergez'in moderatörlüğünü yaptığı "Çocuklar için Finansal Okuryazarlık: Geleceği Bugünden Tasarlamak" atölyesine ziyarette bulundu.

Vakıf Başkanı Emrehan Halıcı'dan 11. Zekâ ve Yetenek Kongresi'ne ilişkin bilgi alan Bakan Tekin, bugün finansal okuryazarlık atölyesine gelmenin kendileri için de sürpriz olduğunu söyledi.

Pek çok ülkede olduğu gibi Türkiye'nin de okuryazarlık becerileri konusunda sorun yaşadığı değerlendirmesinde bulunan Tekin, "Türkiye Maarif Modeli'ni kurgularken, dokuz okuryazarlık becerisi tanımı yaptık. Bunlardan bir tanesi de finansal okuryazarlık. Bunların yanında kültür okuryazarlığı, medya okuryazarlığı, sanat okuryazarlığı da var. Bunlar önemli beceriler." dedi.

Bakan Tekin ve beraberindekiler, Doç. Dr. Burak Karabey ve Uğur Mert'in anlatımını yaptığı "Zamanın Matematiği" ile Özge Karabulut'un moderatörlüğünde "Belirsizlikte Adaptif Zekâ ile İlerlemek" atölyelerini de ziyaret ederek katılımcılara ve eğitmenlere başarılar diledi.

Atölyelerin ardından ODTÜ Eğitim Fakültesi Dekanı Mustafa Levent İnce, Bakan Tekin ve beraberindekileri makamında ağırladı.

Bakan Tekin'e ziyarette, ODTÜ Rektörü Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, TZV Başkanı Emrehan Halıcı, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Özel Eğitim ve Rehberlik Hizmetleri Genel Müdürü Mustafa Otrar ile Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Yenilik ve Eğitim Teknolojileri Genel Müdürü Mustafa Canlı da eşlik etti.
