Battal Gazi'nin şehri, kayısı diyarı Malatya'dayız. Malatya Valiliğimizi ziyaret ederek Valimiz Sayın Seddar Yavuz'dan ilimiz özelinde gerçekleştirdiğimiz eğitim yatırımlarına ve çalışmalara dair istişarelerde bulunduk. Kıymetli Valimize konukseverliğinden ötürü teşekkür ediyorum.

Millî Eğitim Bakanı Yusuf Tekin, çeşitli ziyaretler için bulunduğu kentte Malatya Valiliği ile Büyükşehir Belediyesini ziyaret etti, Vali Seddar Yavuz'dan kentte yürütülen eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerine ilişkin bilgi aldı.

Daha sonra Hz. İmam Zeynel Abidin Türbesi Kültür Vakfı Cemevinde düzenlenen Geleneksel Abdal Musa Lokması Etkinliği'ne katılan Bakan Tekin, buradaki konuşmasında Malatya'da bulunmaktan dolayı mutlu olduğunu söyledi.

Eğitime ilişkin çalışmalara da değinen Bakan Tekin, şunları kaydetti: "Din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi derslerinde, Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli kapsamında Alevilik, Bektaşilik dâhil Türkiye'deki bütün inançlarla ilgili çocuklarımızın özgürce ve doğru bilgiye erişebilecekleri bir müfredat geliştirdik. Seçmeli dersler arasına klasik ahlak metinleri dersini koyduk. Bu dersin önemli bir kısmının içeriği Hazreti Ali'den neşet ediyor. Bütün öğretmen arkadaşlarımız toplumun kanaat önderleri olarak, bu toplumun geleceğine yön veren insanlar olarak, ülkeyi bir arada tutan temel değerlerin, millî birliğin, beraberliğin ve kardeşliğin egemen olması için gerekeni yapmakla mükelleftir."

Programa, Malatya Valisi Seddar Yavuz, İnönü Üniversitesi Rektörü Prof. Dr. Nusret Akpolat, Malatya Turgut Özal Üniversitesi Rektörü Prof. Dr. Recep Bentli, İl Jandarma Komutanı Jandarma Albay Tolunay Başer, İl Emniyet Müdürü Kayhan Ay, Battalgazi Belediye Başkanı Bayram Taşkın, Hz. İmam Zeynel Abidin Türbesi Kültür Vakfı ve Cemevi Başkanı Ergün Tuluk, Başkan Yardımcısı Aliekber Karaduman ve ilgililer katıldı.

Öğrencilerden Bakan Tekin'e Bayraklarla Karşılama

Malatya programı sırasında yol güzergâhında ellerinde bayraklarla kendisini bekleyen ve selamlayan Battalgazi ilçesi Atatürk İlkokulu öğrencilerini gören Bakan Tekin, aracını durdurarak öğrencilerle sohbet etti, fotoğraf çektirdi ve çocuklara çeşitli hediyeler verdi.

Kentte esnaf ziyareti de gerçekleştiren Bakan Tekin, vatandaşlarla sohbet edip hatıra fotoğrafı çektirdi.
